California Tax Revolt Day!

Tuesday, May 19th. California taxpayers go to the polls to deliver what should be a stinging rebuke to the tax and spend policies of Sacramento. I want to be crystal clear on this as the almost the entire universe of the blogosphere and national punditry of this situation wrong. The Governator is doing what he sees as the last resort before he is required to make "draconian" cuts to the state's budget. This is where most of the arguments end. Some continue on to scratch at the surface of the real problem but never dig deep into the issue: it is the fault of an entrenched and politically corrupt Democrat legislature that is 95% responsible for getting California into this mess. 5% goes to Arnie for 4 years of week leadership, but it is due to decades of Democratic fiduciary malfeasance that we find ourselves at this sorry state. Today, we will send a clear message to not just the state but to the Obama administration as well that we are going to fight and fight hard against the rampant power grab of the statists.

Obama Administration Steals Private Property for Crescent of Shame Memorial

Followers of The Turret will know this subject well, as I have posted on it exhaustively. We, and many others have fought a good and effective fight and have held up development to date. However today we find that the Obama administration is launching a fresh attack, and is using Imminent Domain to seize private property in order to build this disgrace.

Atlas Shrugged blog is all over this, having posted on this story yesterday. And, whereas I tend to be lazy, and Ms Geller is oh so intelligent and attractive, I'll just link to her site and let you all have at it. You'll thank me, I know.

UPDATE! The Ongoing Fight Against ACORN

When I'm on the money, I am dead on! To follow up my post from yesterday regarding ACORN thuggery, it has just come across the wire that Glenn Beck has tossed ACORN spokestool who accused him of "being afraid of black people" which of course is accusing him of being racist. That's how these asshats work. Any disagreement is immediately met with the race card.

Big time cudos to Glenn Beck for not putting up with this and dealing with it in a quick and decisive manner.

I'm sure we're gonna be hearing much more of this. In the meantime, here's the video.



And here's the whole thing. Watch this cockroach squirm as Beck basically reads out the convictions as highlighted in the Fraud Map in yesterday's post. This is soooooooo sweet!

The Ongoing Fight Against ACORN

Despite a near complete media blackout, news of the ongoing battles against ACORN continues to leat out, and the news is good.

First up, in Nevada we have fresh indictments of voter fraud involving ACORN ...indicted on 26 counts of voter fraud involving 19,000 fraudulent registrations.

As usual, ACORN blames "rogue elements" within their organization. And of course, it's a blatant lie. As this Fraud Map clearly shows, ACORN is involved in widespread and systematic voter fraud all in the name of their Fuhrer and the Democrat party.

100 Days of Banana Boat Socialism

A hail and hearty "bite my aspic" to Chicago Street Thug President on this his 100th day of dictatorial rule in the US.

I just needed to get something in for now, my full post is a work in progress and will appear this evening. Suffice to say, that the Anointed One chose today to take a personal swipe at the Tea Party protesters for doing nothing more than exercising their 1at Amendment rights. This punk is so egomaniacal that any criticism is personal and therefore he responds in kind. What. A. Tool. But that's where we stand folks.

And one last note before I log off for now... how ironic that so many New Yorkers were driven to stark raving terror by the very president they voted for in overwhelming numbers. Obama has never believed in a War on Terror. New Yorkers voted him in, and their reward? A slap in the face and feigned ignorance. Sadly, I doubt New Yorkers have learned anything from this. The Cult of Obama goosesteps onward.

So let's review where we are:

He's gonna close Gitmo with no follow up plan other than to release terrorists into the US where they will then live off the taxpayer dime.

He's quadrupled the national debt but still complains about the debt he inherited.

His administration is chock full of tax cheats, lobbyists and tax cheating lobbyists.

His repeated campaign claims of "transparency" and "bipartisanship" have been exposed as utter lies.

He is utterly clueless without his teleprompter.

The Media is now an adjunct arm of the White House. We no longer have a free press.

He has personally attacked private citizens - most notably the Tea Party protesters - who have done nothing else but exercise their 1st Amendment rights

Has crippled our intelligence gathering capabilities.

Has identified conservatives as a national threat and will use DHS to gather information on anyone suspected of being a conservative critic of this administration.

....and folks that's just for starters. Gear up - it's gonna be a tough 4 years.

Happy Tax Revolt Day - I Am a Right Wing Extremist!

...and that's according to Obama's new and highly politicized Department of Homeland Security. I mean, you can see my blog. I've been ripping Barracka Hussein Obama for nearly a year now - viciously and deservedly so. I'd be very disappointed if my name weren't at the top of the Threat List.

What's even better than being a Right Wing Extremist? Being an INSANE Right Wing Extremist. According to the LA Times, all these Tea Parties are steeped in insanity

Ah yes, the sneering condescension of my betters. This will make my participation in today's Tea Party event even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be posting an after action report so do check back.

I guess it depends on who you talk to, but according to Dana Milibank at The Washington Post, I would be considered a "noxious" right wing extremist. And then there's David Livingstone at Northstar Writers Group who cuts to the chase and calls all tea party attendees "scum". That would make me right wing extremist "scum". Gee David, what a potty mouth you have. Naughty!

After Action Report:
As events would have it, fate stepped in and changed my planned participation in the local tea party. Long story short, my rear window was blown out on my to the event, and I could only manage a quick driveby. What I saw was incredible: in the heart of liberal Sonoma County, CA, hundreds turned out to protest Obama's destructive fiscal policies. I was able to keep up with the event via mobile and had constant feedback throughout, so a huge shout out to the local Minutemen chapter for putting in their effort.

The local paper put the number at between 350 and 500. Translation: probably closer to 600 attended. Through my observations and late night conversation with tea party participants, it was a stunning victory. Hats off to the local grassroots organizers (bite me Pelosi, you pathetic harpy) for putting together a fantastic event. Nationwide, it is clear that Obama has just been served. Should he continue down this path, the Democrats are going to be thumped in 2010.

Non-celebrity and loser spokescunt Jeneane Garafolo says that the Tea Parties were all about White Power and hating the Black Man. And displaying her complete lack of math skills and illustrating the fact she prolly never graduated from puberty she actually took a shot at FoxNews ratings over the events, irregardless of the fact that FoxNews beat all other cable news shows COMBINED.

I love it when the Left comes unhinged, because it shows that we are on the right path. They can't help themselves. It's like that experiment with a lizard repeatedly biting a mealworm that has been electrified. They can't help themselves. It's in their nature.

Lesson: you can't negotiate with these thugs. What to do: stall until Navy Seals are on site. Result: Game over for pirates.

Today we are one week out from massive Tea Party Protests. The MSM are hiding all of this but it is going to be huge. The Democrats are poo-pooing all of this, but at the same time, we have had multiple reports that ACORN will attempt to infiltrate the protests using operatives carrying and espousing racist messages. Neil Covuto at Fox News has also carried this story. So, if there's nothing to this, WHY ARE OUR TAX DOLLARS GOING TO ACORN IN ORDER FUND A CLANDESTINE COUNTER PROTEST EFFORT? Thank about that. I'm looking to cover the local Tea Party Protest for a blog post. I'd hoped to attend one of the larger Nor Cal protests but can't swing the time. Also, the local protest will sure to rile even more libs. COOL!
